About Dee

Dee is a Caribbean Canadian entrepreneur, creative, and mental wellness advocate who transforms lived experience into purpose-driven impact. As the founder of Realize Your Potential Youth Society (RYPCANADA) and Grow Through It, Dee merges faith, psychology, and art to empower young people—especially Black youth—on their journey toward healing, resilience, and self-discovery.

With a background in broadcasting, UX/UI design, and a deep passion for storytelling, Dee creates safe, soulful spaces where youth feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow. Her work is rooted in her own mental health journey, spiritual transformation, and commitment to changing systems that have historically excluded and harmed marginalized communities.

Whether designing resilience-building journals, leading community programs, or mentoring the next generation, Dee’s mission is clear: to remind youth that they are not broken, not alone, and always worthy of healing and hope.
